As the exclusive marketing partner for the PTC/USER Global Summit 2024 Tech Conference, we coordinated and managed every marketing project under this one event program.
Each campaign contributed to the event’s final objective - to grow attendance, boost sponsorship levels, and increase session participation.
We achieved it all. Click below to see the 3- and 4-digit results.
Our podcast is focused on storytelling - both corporate and personal - and has hosted a variety of storytellers from all verticals and walks of life with different styles and frameworks they employ.
The premise of the show is that we all have a story to tell and that we can make a difference by telling it - one story at a time. We are in our 2nd season, were awarded 'Podcast of the Year' by Bedford Access TV station, and are slated to grow to over 1000 listeners/downloads this year, with downloads coming from all over Europe and the US.
We broadcast on YouTube, this website, Spotify, RSS, Apple Podcasts, and Amazon Music, Samsung Podcasts, Podcast Index, Listen Notes, Google Podcasts, Deezer and... coming soon to Pandora, Tune In, and IHeart Radio.
Prospective customers need a lot of detailed information in order to make informed decisions and are more likely to buy after consuming educational content.
Kepware, a PTC brand, was planning their 2024 fiscal year sales kick-off and product launch deliverables and needed a number of content pieces to send to prospects.
We were contracted to create their ebooks, whitepaper, banners, brochure, and infographics.

At PTC/USER Global Summit 2024, PTC’s customers, PTC, and the great providers of critical solutions came together to share their experience, products, services, and vast knowledge that has spanned decades.
Our goal in creating this series of videos was to showcase the event sponsors while capturing positive commentary about PTC/USER and the conference.
We did just that.
Whitepapers are powerful marketing tools that can be used to position a company as a thought leader and authority on a certain subject.
When we were contracted by Kepware, a PTC brand, to develop this research whitepaper, the goal was to create a credible source of truth highlighting connectivity challenges for factory leaders that Kepware solved.
Black Dog Marcom collaborated on the sources, completed all of the research, wrote all the copy and designed the document.
Product features and checklists of services are not enough to persuade people to buy. You have to connect with them on an emotional level. By including stories in a product deck or by building a sales team of storytellers, you demonstrate on a much deeper level, that you understand a prospect’s pain points and have dealt with their challenges before.
We lead an all-day product storytelling seminar for a product management team to prepare them for trade show presentations. The main point we drove home was to keep the customer as the hero of their stories, not the product.

We were contracted by Tulip Interfaces, a software company that builds no-code apps for operations in the factory, to refresh 13 underperforming blog posts. It was the summer and the demand generation team was preparing for their next quarter by updating and repurposing some of their web content.
Our team of copywriters delivered blog copy with new content, fresh data, and updated statistics that Tulip’s marketing team could swap out for what they already had on their website.

Our team was contracted by PTC/USER group for onsite event marketing at their Global Summit 2024.
We provided coverage of the event, photographing selected breakout sessions and capturing video of both customer testimonials and the three keynote speakers. We also produced an event recap video and short clips of sponsors at their booths.
Post-event, we provided a photo gallery that attendees could visit and download any of over 1300 edited images from the Summit.
As part of our event marketing contract, Black Dog Marcom was tasked with creating all of the copy and graphics for the PTC/USER Global Summit event organizers so they could upload into their web system and send to their email list.
This newsletter was designed to give potential registrants and attendees any updates about the tech conference so, those who were on the fence would register, while those who had already registered could plan their time in Orlando.

We worked collaboratively with PTC/USER Group to come up with a registration landing page layout and design that was user-friendly. The event organizers and webmaster recreated parts on their own website platform using HTML coding.
We kept the Hero image and clear CTA above the fold. We also kept speakers, venue, and agenda near the top of the page. The branding image was used as the background.
The webmaster and organizers opted for backend placements of the actual registration blocks, embedding them from a different platform.
Podcasting has become a B2B must-have for your marketing toolkit because it gives voice to your brand story.
As part of our onsite event marketing program management at the Global Summit, we created, recorded and produced a podcast from the conference exhibit hall. This type of onsite recording drove visitors to the exhibit hall booth.
The purpose was to collect commentary from sponsors, attendees, or users that our client could use to boost excitement and promotion of the event.
We were contracted by PTC University through the Creo Demand Gen team to design three content pieces promoting online product training - two for their bi-annual tradeshow, Liveworx - and one following the show. These included a brochure, an exhibit hall postcard, and a buyer’s guide post-event.
Our client provided most of the copy and instructions on layout and branding. Our team handled the graphic design on all three pieces, offering our client (as we do on every project) three design versions from which to choose. We also included a QR code on the postcard to drive traffic to their webpages right from the show floor.
